Way too cool...Moleskine related.
So...one of my favorite things is my Moleskine journal. I used to use a Franklin Planner, but honestly, after taking that class and feeling like I'd found a new religion, on later examination, I found I used just about 5% of any given page of my planner.  Then one day, I happened on Neil Gaiman's blog to read about Moleskine notebooks. Find the right obsessive and they'll tell you that it was used in Ancient Macedonia in place of parchment. (kidding). There are a lot of famous people who have used Moleskine notebooks (supposedly Hemingway and Fitzgerald among them). That was good enough. I bought into it, got one and have loved it ever since. Next time you see me, ask and I'll show you mine. And yes, I've already ordered my 2009 book.

Well, today I found a link to a Flicker picture site of someone who has done some amazing things with her Moleskine. If you don't dig on fantasy, or art, you can skip this. If you do to any degree, click here.  If the author (who used to be the now defunct Nine Wave Designs Artist) were to publish that lovely volume, I'd buy it. In a second. And I'd love Molekines all the more for it.

By the way (it doesn't cost much, the way.  Moleskines tend to be in mid $20 range), here is a discussion about Moleskines and here is a link to one of Gaiman's comments about his Moleskines, search for it... And here is Moleskine's webpage. No, I don't make a dime off it if you buy. No vested interest.

After researching it is a tv series was due out this year now looks as next called "Kings" It is a retelling of david and goliath. Looks as if the "Kingdom of Gath" is alternate universe modern day San Francisco with I THINK the Hearst Castle as the Kings mansion. It has Ian McShane so i will watch it.

Whoa! That Moleskine on Flicker is teh awesome!

I use the little Moleskine cahiers a lot. I keep the small ones (3x5, maybe?) in my purse, so I always have paper if an idea turns up, and the larger ones (5x8, maybe?) in the car, for the same reason. The cahiers are very thin indeed, and the back pages are perforated so they can tear out easily - great for lists, etc.
